Regarding the description about Artificer not becoming an echo, I feel like one big detail that isn't addressed by that is the Steam achievement. It's description reads, "The consequences of your journey have caught up with you.", which definitely suggests that it's not a happy ending. And the icon for the achievement possesses some elements from the symbol used for echoes. I for one actually prefer the idea that Artificer becomes an echo, because it makes sense with the lore about echoes not having enough karma to ascend, and also because I like suffering.

main question: why do artificer's children appear in the void sea after death? what about the cycle?

My theory for what you see in the void sea is that it makes you hallucinate or at least see the thing you most seeked in your life or final moments. Then it completely destroys you and your spirit breaking your cycle. There is no implied afterlife as far as we know. But the difference between monk or survivor's ascension to Arti's is that she wasnt able to completely shed her desires hence why she never reached karma 10 and the worm didnt help her. Thus her disappearing after seeing her children indicates she didnt exactly ascend but was moreso killed by the void and returned to the cycle instead of becoming an echo.

This whole thing takes place before he even failed to ascend. Nice.

The only lizard I will tame is Cyan, White, Blue, pink and Green bc screw the other ones. I threw a egg bug at a red lizard today and bro deflected it and ate me instead

i accidently lineaged a yellow lizard by killing like only 2 lizards, idk the chances tho :P if someone has a list of the chances please send me it :D, im kinda late tbh- oh yeah i forgot, that lizard broke my whole game, when i killed it, i died to a green one, (i went back he was still there) then my tail and body started glitching out, flashing, dissapearing and coming back, the graphics were also glitching, flashing, and it was all in outskirts as survivor, so i reseted my save file, it was all weird i also again forgot that the lizard had its same movements as the cycle where i died, even if i went another way he would still go and do the same movements, even biting at air...??, like i didnt die and i was still there, i really didnt understand what happened, and i promise im not faking this out, it really happened, sadly i deleted the save file, it looked scary, because of the flashes in the sky (it was not an echo, there are no echos in outskirts as survivor) so thats why, you guys cant see how it looked wait...can you lineage a orange lizard in outskirts?....

Could be an interesting Idea for a battle Royale-like game mode. Maybe a large group of players (Like around 15 or 20 idk) get to choose which region where they'll spawn in kinda like in safari mode and they spawn in a random shelter and all shelters are broken after which you'd have maybe like 20 or 30 minutes to Hunt down other players and kill them. Karma gates would be open to everyone and as an incentive to lure players out of hiding all players would be warned of incoming rain for certain regions and if they didn't leave before the warning timer ends the rain would come and crush and drown anyone in the area. (Kinda like the Gas from PUBG) All players would get the Hunter Back spear Ability regardless of Slugcat. ...I could continue on the idea of a Slugcat Battle Royale gamemode but then it would take awhile to read. So I'll stop here ^-^' Edit: Oh also areas that trigger endings like the depths would be blocked off.

I beat the base game Hunter as a final challenge for unlocking Downpour a while ago but it's cool that people also do this to get as many Points as possible.
